ATLANTA, GA -- WebTeach.com™ (http://webteach.com), a virtual technology provider of interactive solutions to meet the needs of schools, organizations and institutions, is pleased to introduce the WebTeach.com “Tutors On-Demand” synchronous learning platform this weekend at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE®) Conference.
The Tutors On-Demand program provides schools with highly qualified tutors ready to assist students in online, office-hour style cloud classrooms that can be accessed from most web-enabled PC’s, Macs, laptops, e-readers or tablets. Schools decide the courses, subjects (grade level, population specific), tutor qualifications (certifications, experience), curriculum offerings for their student population and scheduling times for tutoring.
During the scheduled exhibit floor hours, visitors to the WebTeach booth (#554) can experience the Tutors On-Demand program live, in real-time. Current WebTeach tutors will available virtually for demonstration purposes. From 10:00 a.m. until noon and 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. booth guests can try to “stump” the WebTeachers and enter to win a 32” LCD monitor, which will be given out at the end of the show.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to reach the tech forward education professionals on a national scale,” says JW Ray, President and CEO of WebTeach.com. “We want to help schools to offer more subjects to more students and/or to fill scheduling gaps without hiring additional full-time educators. This conference will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about how their schools or educational organizations can create or augment their virtual learning initiatives.”
For more than three decades the ISTE Conference and Expo has been the premier forum in which to learn, exchange ideas and survey the field of education technology. According to the organization’s website, the event attracts upwards of 14,000 attendees and industry representatives — including teachers, technology coordinators, administrators, library media specialists, teacher educators and policy makers.
WebTeach.com’s “Classrooms in the Clouds” learning platform is equipped with the latest collaborative tools to offer homework help, test preparation, paper/project direction and skill building. Organizations can create individual online classrooms where teachers, training professionals and learners can meet in real-time using video, chat, VoIP, screen sharing, interactive whiteboarding and more.
“WebTeach.com wants to improve the way today’s schools teach, tutor, communicate and collaborate,” says Sebastian Replanksi, Director of Product Development for WebTeach.com. “With WebTeach’s ‘Tutors On-Demand’ product we can provide the expertise students need, when they need it. With cloud classroom capacity from 2 to 2,000, schools have more flexibility to engage students than ever before.”
