Second Annual Triangle Biotech Research Symposium Set for August 20, 2013

TINTON FALLS, N.J. & RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--The BioPharma Research Council (BRC) is partnering with the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBC) to present the 2nd Annual Triangle Biotech Research Symposium, August 20 2013, at the Hamner Center in Research Triangle Park, NC. A Call for Papers, Attendee Registration, and sponsorship information has been posted at the BRC website (www.biopharmaresearchcouncil.org). Researchers are encouraged to provide abstracts for oral presentations or posters in the areas of Therapeutics, Agriculture, Bioinformatics, Drug and Device Discovery, Enabling Technologies, Intellectual Property, and Translational Medicine.

“We are most interested in Abstracts that embody Innovation, Inventiveness, and Ingenuity in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical space including academic and agricultural research,” says Dolly Koltchev Ph.D., BRC’s Program Director.

“It has become critical for professionals in the biopharma industry to come together at crosssilo events to present their research, discuss hypotheses, crosspollinate ideas and network with peers“, according to Dr. Koltchev. “Our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and attendees will enjoy a full day of information sharing which will potentially lead to partnerships and collaborations in the future.”

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a Program Committee of experts. Selected presenters for oral and poster presentations will be notified by July 24 via email.

Since 2009 The BioPharma Research Council has produced symposia and forums for researchers from academic and pharma labs, government, suppliers and nonprofit groups. By building diverse programming and inviting the entire biotech/pharma community to participate, we are helping make connections that affect the development of healthcare breakthroughs across the eastern US and beyond.
